At The Homestead Childcare we will soon be providing children with the opportunity to explore natural environment, experiencing the outdoors first hand and developing their innate curiosity and love of learning

The children will get to enjoy all the things they love … exploring the environment, being creative and using their imaginations whilst being physical and free!! As they learn and explore they will be getting all the exercise they need; whilst out in the fresh air they can develop their communication and thinking skills; build their confidence and resilience; and, most importantly, have lots of fun.

The children will take part in a variety of activities, such as building dens, leaf printing, cooking in mud kitchens, creating fantasy worlds, and caring for the environment, as well as having plenty of opportunity for free exploration of the woodland alongside our staff.

The teaching staff will undertake their Level 3 Forest School training soon. All the team has a passion for outdoor learning, and understand how to cover all areas of the Early Years curriculum in an exciting hands-on way that children love.
